We stand in solidarity with all those seeking justice for George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, and an unacceptable amount of Black Americans killed and harmed by police brutality and systemic racism. We strongly condemn the racism deeply rooted in the institutions many of us call second homes, and will continue to commit to ensuring that anywhere we operate is a space that understands the importance of not just condemning racism, but actively taking action against it.

There is no environmental justice without racial justice, and there is no environmental progress without environmental justice. All of us in the climate movement must commit to actively opposing and dismantling white supremacy.

The environmental movement has historically been very exclusive of POC, especially Black people, and we can’t let this legacy of exclusion and direct or indirect erasure and violence continue. #BlackLivesMatter, today and every day.

We realize that making a statement is in no way nearly enough. In the wake of these latest episodes of racism and police violence against black people, we wanted to share a list of resources for you to support the victims and the fight for a just world. Please use this link to find a list of resources you can use to support the fight against police brutality, systemic racism, and white supremacy.
